Anderson's General Store, one of the best mom and pop shops in the state of Washington (if not the entire country), hired us to design a new embroidered Guemes Island hat for them a few weeks back. Depicting the ferry traveling the stormy channel between Anacortes and Guemes Island, we attempted to bridge the gap between more traditional touristy imagery and something more
handmade and authentic.
Below are a couple of photos of the work in progress, as it found it's way through drafts on my computer:
I'll make sure to let y'all know when the hats get back, so you can see the finished version!

Stuart & Caan

So the folks at Knw-Yr-Own Records hired us to layout and package their new release from Stuart & Caan, "The Mayfly Dance". It's looking pretty amazing and something about the recycled packaging with the intricate b&w offset printing looks a hell of a lot better than I originally thought! The packaging is an arigato pack from the folks at Stumptown Printers and we screenprinted the insert at our studio. I think they're releasing this in late February so look for it at the record stores then.
